Family Dog II

For dogs 5 months and older.

Cost: $120 for 6 week sessions. Class is limited to 8 for more individual attention. Open enrollment signup at any time for your convince so you can start at any time

      Take the skills you have learned in Perfect Puppies and Family Dog to the next level.

      This is a continues class that will let you grow to a level of having a ongoing relationship with your dog.  Each week this class will have a different focus for you to enjoy positive training, such as tricks, obstacle training and Canine Good Citizen testing requirements. Improve your dog's reliability with increased distractions.  Continue to work on fading out treats and extraneous cues.  Start teaching your dog to respond at a distance and beginning the steps to achieve off-leash control.  Improve your dog's come and stay commands and work on teaching your dog to heel.

       Dogs are required to have completed a basic obedience class before taking this class and must have current vaccinations that include Kennel Cough on the first day of class.

      Families are welcome to attend.  Junior handlers must be over the age of 14 and accompanied by a legal guardian during the entire class.  Please bring your dog on a flat collar, harness or head halter and lots of tiny treats to the first class.

   This class meets outside and will be weather dependent.  If a class is cancelled, the makeup classes will be scheduled on the same day of wee/time of day in the weeks following the scheduled class.
