Group Class Information
The Java Dog Training Center offers dog obedience training at a variety of different levels. Puppy and pet dog obedience classes focus on teaching basic obedience and work toward developing dogs that are well mannered and well socialized with both people and other dogs. More advanced obedience classes are offered for dog-handler teams competing in obedience and working towards earning obedience titles in Novice, Open and Utility.
Rally is a new dog sport that offers dogs and handlers the chance to show off how effectively they work together as a team. Rally courses consist of 10 - 20 stations where the dog-handler team performs various patterns that test a variety of obedience skills and require good communication and coordinated efforts. Rally classes are held at the Java Dog Training Center on Friday and Sunday afternoons. Different levels of classes are offered for those just starting out as well as for those who are competing.
